Description Spectra DG813 Pipe Laser The advanced Spectra Precision DG813 delivers the most productive pipe laying experience in the market. The level is extremely rugged and designed to survive demanding underground conditions. Benefitting from the latest technology developed by Spectra Precision, the laser beams move quickly and accurately for alignment and grade. The DG813 is the top of the range model and is simple to use, with a clear graphical menu. A range of useful functions aid quick set up of the laser level. The DG813 is supplied with the SP803 radio linked Spot Finder, to which the laser can align automatically. This is particularly useful for grade matching work, where the laser has to be sloped to match two existing points at each end of a proposed drain run. The DG813 pipe laser is simply placed at one end of the run, perhaps in an existing manhole or drain, and the SP803 spot finder is located at the required final posistion at the other end of the proposed drain run. The pipe laser will rapidly scan the area in front with a special laser beam, and within seconds will locate and precisely aim at the Spot Finder centre-line. The laser will then lock-on at that point. The resultant grade will be displayed on the pipe laser and remote control, enabling the operator to confirm that the working grade is suitable.
